Summary

CVE-2024-22206 is a vulnerability affecting Clerk, a user management solution used by developers. The issue lies in the auth() function of the App Router or getAuth() function of the Pages Router, which contains a logic flaw. An attacker can exploit this vulnerability to gain unauthorized access or escalate privileges, potentially compromising sensitive data. The vulnerability was addressed in Clerk's version 4.29.3 patch.
