Summary

CVE-2024-2211 is a newly disclosed Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability that affects version 0.12.1 of the security training platform Gophish. This stored XSS flaw enables attackers to inject malicious JavaScript code into the campaign menu. Once the campaign is deleted from the menu, the attacker's payload is executed, potentially leading to unauthorized access or data theft. Users are strongly advised to update their Gophish installations to the latest version to mitigate this risk.
