Summary

CVE-2024-2204: A newly discovered vulnerability affects Zemana AntiLogger version 2.74.204.664. Hackers can exploit this DoS (Denial of Service) vulnerability by triggering specific IOCTL (Input/Output Control) codes (0x80002004 and 0x80002010) of the zam64.sys and zamguard64.sys drivers. The exploitation results in the system becoming unresponsive, rendering the software ineffective until a reboot is performed. Users are encouraged to update to the latest version of Zemana AntiLogger to mitigate this risk.
