Summary

CVE-2024-21833 is a newly disclosed vulnerability affecting multiple TP-LINK products. An unauthenticated attacker with network access to the device can exploit this weakness to execute arbitrary OS commands. The affected devices, which initially only allow login from the LAN port or Wi-Fi, become vulnerable to these attacks. This issue poses a significant risk as it allows an attacker to gain control over the device, potentially leading to data theft or unauthorized access to the network. TP-LINK users are advised to apply the necessary security patches as soon as they become available.
