Summary

CVE-2024-2170 is a Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting the VK All in One Expansion Unit plugin for WordPress. This issue, present in versions up to 9.96.0.1, stems from insufficient input sanitization and output escaping on user-supplied 'className' attributes in the child page index widget. Authenticated attackers with contributor-level access and above can exploit this vulnerability to inject arbitrary web scripts. These scripts will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page, posing a significant security risk.
