Summary
CVE-2024-21672 is a high severity Remote Code Execution (RCE) vulnerability affecting Confluence Data Center and Server versions 2.1.0 and above. This issue, rated with a CVSS Score of 8.3, allows unauthenticated attackers to execute remote code and access assets in susceptible environments. The impact includes high levels of risk to confidentiality, integrity, and availability, and requires user interaction. Atlassian strongly advises Confluence users to upgrade to the latest version, or to specific supported fixed versions if unable to do so. Confluence Data Center and Server 7.19 users should upgrade to a release 7.19.18 or any higher 7.19.x release; 8.5 users, to a release 8.5.5 or any higher 8.5.x release; and 8.7 users, to a release 8.7.2 or any higher release.
