Summary

CVE-2024-21645 is a log injection vulnerability affecting the open-source Python-based download manager, pyLoad. An attacker can exploit this unauthenticated weakness to inject arbitrary messages into pyLoad's logs. This issue poses a significant threat as forged or malicious log entries can be used to conceal an attacker's activities or falsely implicate others. Users are advised to update to the patched version 0.5.0b3.dev77 to mitigate this risk.
