Summary

CVE-2024-21642 is a serious vulnerability affecting D-Tale, a visualizer tool for Pandas data structures. Prior to version 3.9.0, D-Tale is vulnerable to server-side request forgery (SSRF), enabling attackers to gain unauthorized access to files on the server. To mitigate this risk, users are strongly urged to upgrade to version 3.9.0, which disables the `Load From the Web` input by default. For users unable to upgrade, the only workaround is to restrict access to D-Tale to trusted users.
