Summary

CVE-2024-21483 is a vulnerability affecting select SENTRON 7KM PAC3120 AC/DC and DC models (V3.2.3 to V3.3.0, manufactured between LQN231003 and LQN231215), as well as the SENTRON 7KM PAC3220 AC/DC and DC models (V3.2.3 to V3.3.0, manufactured during the same timeframe). The issue lies in the inadequate setting of the read-out protection of the internal flash during manufacturing. As a result, an attacker with direct access to the affected devices can successfully read the data, posing a potential security risk.
