Summary
CVE-2024-21450 is a remote code execution vulnerability affecting Microsoft's Windows Defender Application Control (WDAC) OLE DB provider for SQL Server. An attacker can exploit this weakness by sending specially crafted SQL queries to a target system, allowing them to execute arbitrary code and potentially gain unauthorized access. Successful exploitation could result in significant data loss or system compromise.
