Summary

CVE-2024-2127 is a stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting the Pagelayer plugin for WordPress, versions up to and including 1.8.3. This issue arises due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping, enabling authenticated attackers with contributor-level or higher permissions to inject arbitrary web scripts. Upon accessing an injected page, these scripts will execute, posing a significant security risk.
