Summary

CVE-2024-21171 is a new vulnerability affecting Oracle MySQL Server versions 8.0.37 and prior, as well as 8.4.0 and prior. This issue, located in the Optimizer component, allows a low-privileged network attacker to cause a denial-of-service (DoS) on the MySQL Server via multiple protocols.
