Summary
CVE-2024-21047 is a recently disclosed vulnerability affecting the InnoDB component of Oracle MySQL Server. Versions 8.0.36 and prior, as well as 8.3.0 and prior, are reportedly vulnerable. This issue enables high-privileged attackers, with network access, to exploit the vulnerability and cause a denial-of-service (DoS) condition. Successful attacks can result in unauthorized hangs or frequent crashes of MySQL Server.
