Summary

CVE-2024-20877 is a heap out-of-bound write vulnerability affecting libsavscmn.so, a component in SMR software prior to Jun-2024 Release 1. Maliciously crafted grid image headers can be exploited by local attackers to write arbitrary data beyond the allocated memory space.
