This issue involves an Untrusted Search Path vulnerability, which can lead to arbitrary code execution in the context of the current user. If the Lightroom application utilizes a search path to locate critical resources like programs, an attacker can manipulate this path to point to a malicious program. Consequently, the application could unintentionally execute the malicious code when the victim opens a tampered file.
