Summary
CVE-2024-20750 is a newly disclosed vulnerability affecting Substance3D Designer versions 13.1.0 and older. This issue involves an out-of-bounds read vulnerability during file parsing, enabling an attacker to read past the end of an allocated memory structure. The exploitation of this flaw requires user interaction, meaning a victim must open a maliciously crafted file to be vulnerable. Successful attacks could potentially grant the attacker the ability to execute code in the context of the current user.
