Summary
CVE-2024-20733 is a newly discovered vulnerability that impacts Adobe Acrobat Reader versions 20.005.30539 and 23.008.20470, and potentially older editions. The flaw is classified as an Improper Input Validation issue, which can lead to an application denial-of-service (DoS). When a user opens a maliciously crafted PDF file, the vulnerability allows an attacker to manipulate the input data, causing the application to crash and denying access to the user.
