Summary
CVE-2024-20711 is a newly discovered vulnerability affecting Adobe Substance 3D Stager versions 2.1.3 and prior. This issue involves an out-of-bounds read vulnerability, enabling an attacker to access sensitive memory content. By doing so, the adversary may bypass important security mitigations, such as Address Space Layout Randomization (ASLR). The exploitation of this vulnerability necessitates user interaction, meaning a victim must open a maliciously crafted file in order for the attack to succeed.
