Summary

CVE-2024-20690 is a new vulnerability affecting Windows Nearby Sharing feature. Hackers can exploit this spoofing weakness to trick users into thinking that a malicious device is nearby and available for sharing. This can lead users to inadvertently connect to the attacker's device, potentially allowing unauthorized access to their system or sensitive information.
