Summary

CVE-2024-20681 is an elevation of privilege vulnerability affecting the Windows Subsystem for Linux (WSL). An attacker who successfully exploits this vulnerability can gain elevated privileges in the WSL environment, potentially enabling them to execute arbitrary commands with administrative rights.
