Summary

CVE-2024-20662 is a newly discovered vulnerability affecting the Windows Online Certificate Status Protocol (OCSP). This issue allows unauthenticated attackers to obtain sensitive information by sending specially crafted requests to the targeted system. The vulnerability could potentially lead to information disclosure, posing a risk to the confidentiality of data protected by the affected OCSP service. Microsoft is currently working on a patch to address this issue, and it is recommended that affected systems be updated as soon as possible to mitigate the risk.
