Summary

CVE-2024-20658 is a newly disclosed Microsoft Virtual Hard Disk vulnerability (VHD). Maliciously crafted Virtual Hard Disks can potentially exploit this Elevation of Privilege (EoP) weakness, allowing attackers to gain higher system access and execute unauthorized code with administrative rights on affected systems.
