Summary

CVE-2024-20315 is a vulnerability affecting the access control list (ACL) processing on MPLS interfaces in the ingress direction of Cisco IOS XR Software. This issue results from improper assignment of lookup keys to internal interface contexts, allowing an unauthenticated, remote attacker to bypass a configured ACL. The vulnerability could potentially be exploited by sending traffic through an affected device, granting the attacker access to resources behind the device that were intended to be protected.
