Summary

CVE-2024-20287 is a vulnerability affecting the web-based management interface of Cisco WAP371 Wireless-AC/N Dual Radio Access Points. This issue allows authenticated, remote attackers to carry out command injection attacks. The root cause is improper input validation. An attacker can send specially crafted HTTP requests to the interface, potentially gaining root privileges and executing arbitrary commands on the device. For exploitation, the adversary must hold valid administrative credentials.
