Summary

CVE-2024-20258 is a vulnerability affecting Cisco AsyncOS Software used in Cisco Secure Email and Web Manager and Secure Email Gateway. An unauthenticated, remote attacker can leverage insufficient user input validation to execute a Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) attack. By persuading a user to click a malicious link, an attacker could inject arbitrary script code into the affected interface or gain access to sensitive browser-based information.
