Summary

CVE-2024-20257 is a vulnerability affecting the web-based management interface of Cisco AsyncOS Software for Cisco Secure Email Gateway. This issue allows authenticated, remote attackers to execute Arbitrary Script Code (XSS) attacks against users of the interface. The root cause is insufficient user input validation. An attacker can trick a user into clicking a malicious link, resulting in unauthorized script execution or access to sensitive browser-based information.
