Summary
CVE-2024-1995 is a vulnerability affecting the Smart Custom Fields plugin for WordPress. This issue allows authenticated attackers, with subscriber-level access and above, to bypass capability checks on the relational_posts_search() function. Consequences of exploiting this vulnerability include access to password-protected and private post content. The impacted plugin versions are up to and including 4.2.2. It is recommended that users update to the latest version to mitigate this risk.
