Summary

CVE-2024-1976 is a Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) vulnerability affecting the Marketing Optimizer plugin for WordPress. This issue exists due to insufficient or missing nonce validation in the admin/main-settings-page.php file. As a result, unauthenticated attackers can manipulate plugin settings and inject malicious JavaScript by tricking site administrators into performing a specific action, such as clicking on a malicious link. This vulnerability puts WordPress websites using the Marketing Optimizer plugin up to version 20200925 at risk.
