Summary

CVE-2024-1907 is a Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) vulnerability affecting the Categorify plugin for WordPress. Versions up to and including 1.0.7.4 are vulnerable to this issue. The vulnerability stems from inadequate nonce validation on the function categorifyAjaxDeleteCategory. Consequently, unauthenticated attackers can manipulate administrators into performing unwanted actions, such as deleting categories, via malicious links. This security flaw poses a significant risk to WordPress websites using the Categorify plugin, necessitating immediate update to a non-vulnerable version.
