Summary

CVE-2024-1888: Mattermost inadvertently bypasses the "invite_guest" permission check when inviting guests from other teams to join a team. This vulnerability enables a member with the ability to add other team members but not guests, to add a guest to a team if the guest was already a guest in another team on the server. This oversight could lead to unintended access to team resources.
