Summary

CVE-2024-1870 is a vulnerability affecting the Colibri Page Builder plugin for WordPress. This issue allows authenticated attackers, including those with subscriber access or higher, to unauthorizedly modify data. The root cause is a missing capability check on the callActivateLicenseEndpoint function, which is present in all versions up to and including 1.0.260. As a result, attackers can update the license key, posing a security risk for WordPress sites using the Colibri Page Builder plugin. It is recommended that users update to the latest version of the plugin to mitigate this vulnerability.
