Summary

CVE-2024-1806 is a stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting the Paid Membership Plugin, Ecommerce, User Registration Form, Login Form, User Profile & Restrict Content – ProfilePress for WordPress. Versions up to and including 4.15.1 are susceptible to this issue. Attackers with contributor-level permissions or higher can exploit this vulnerability by injecting malicious scripts via the plugin's shortcodes. The insufficient input sanitization and output escaping on user-supplied attributes make it possible for these scripts to execute whenever an injected page is accessed, potentially putting the entire WordPress site at risk.
