Summary

CVE-2024-1801 is a newly discovered vulnerability affecting In Progress® Telerik® Reporting versions before Q1 2024 (18.0.24.130). This issue allows a local threat actor to execute arbitrary code through an insecure deserialization vulnerability. An attacker could exploit this weakness by sending specially crafted data to the application, leading to potential code execution and subsequent system compromise. Organizations using the affected reporting software are urged to update to the latest version as soon as possible to mitigate this risk.
