Summary

CVE-2024-1800 is a remote code execution vulnerability affecting In Progress® Telerik® Report Server versions before Q1 2024 (10.0.24.130). Malicious actors can exploit this insecure deserialization issue to execute arbitrary code on the server, potentially leading to serious security breaches and unauthorized system access. The vulnerability allows attackers to send maliciously crafted data to the server, which is then deserialized and executed without proper validation or sanitization, resulting in unintended code execution. Organizations using In Progress® Telerik® Report Server are advised to update to a patched version as soon as possible to mitigate this risk.
