Summary

CVE-2024-1791 is a stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting the CodeMirror Blocks plugin for WordPress. This issue, present in all versions up to 1.2.4, permits authenticated attackers with contributor-level access or higher to inject malicious scripts. The vulnerability lies in insufficient input sanitization and output escaping within the Code Mirror block. Successful exploitation allows the attacker to execute arbitrary web scripts whenever a user visits an injected page.
