Summary

CVE-2024-1782 is a Reflected Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting the Blue Triad EZAnalytics plugin for WordPress. Versions up to and including 1.0 are impacted by this issue due to inadequate input sanitization and output escaping in the 'bt_webid' parameter. This weakness allows unauthenticated attackers to inject malicious scripts into pages viewed by users, potentially leading to data theft or website defacement if a user is tricked into taking a specific action, such as clicking on a manipulated link.
