Summary

CVE-2024-1760 is a Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) vulnerability affecting the Appointment Booking Calendar plugin, specifically versions 1.6.6.20 and below of Simply Schedule Appointments Booking Plugin for WordPress. The issue arises due to insufficient nonce validation on the ssa_factory_reset() function, enabling unauthenticated attackers to manipulate the plugin's settings. By tricking site administrators into taking a specific action, such as clicking a malicious link, attackers can execute the forged request and reset the plugin settings to their advantage.
