Summary
CVE-2024-1742 is a vulnerability affecting the mk_oracle Checkmk agent plugin before versions 2.3.0b4 (beta), 2.2.0p24, 2.1.0p41, and 2.0.0 (end-of-life). An attacker can exploit this issue by invoking the sqlplus command with sensitive information in the command line. This action allows the extraction of the sensitive data from the process list, posing a security risk. Users are advised to update to a patched version of the plugin to mitigate this vulnerability.
