Summary

CVE-2024-1685 is a vulnerability affecting the Social Media Share Buttons plugin for WordPress. It enables authenticated attackers with subscriber-level access or higher to inject PHP Objects through the attachmentUrl parameter due to deserialization of untrusted input. No Pop chain has been identified in the plugin itself, but if one exists via an additional plugin or theme, attackers could potentially delete files, retrieve sensitive data, or execute code.
