Summary

CVE-2024-1605 is a vulnerability affecting BMC Control-M branches 9.0.20 and 9.0.21. At user login, these versions load all Dynamic Link Libraries (DLLs) from a directory with write and read permissions accessible to all users. An attacker can exploit this by introducing a malicious library, which will run with the application's privileges. The vulnerability has been addressed in versions 9.0.20.238 and 9.0.21.201 for the respective branches.
