Summary

CVE-2024-1541 is a stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting the Gutenberg Blocks by Kadence Blocks – Page Builder Features plugin for WordPress. The flaw, present in versions up to and including 3.2.23, enables authenticated attackers with contributor access or higher to inject malicious scripts through the insufficiently sanitized htmlTag attribute. Successful exploitation allows the attacker to execute arbitrary web scripts on pages visited by unsuspecting users.
