Summary

CVE-2024-1537 is a stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting the Essential Addons for Elementor plugin for WordPress. This issue, present in all versions up to 5.9.9, stems from insufficient input sanitization and output escaping on user-supplied attributes in the plugin's Data Table widget. Authenticated attackers with contributor-level permissions or higher can exploit this vulnerability by injecting arbitrary web scripts. These scripts will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page, posing a significant security risk.
