Summary

CVE-2024-1505 is a privilege escalation vulnerability affecting the Academy LMS plugin for WordPress. Versions up to and including 1.9.19 are impacted, allowing authenticated attackers, including students, to exploit the saved_user_info() function and escalate their user role to an administrator. This vulnerability puts WordPress sites using the Academy LMS plugin at risk for unauthorized access and potential data breaches.
