Summary

CVE-2024-1468 is a vulnerability affecting the Avada theme for WordPress and WooCommerce. This issue arises from insufficient file type validation in the ajax_import_options() function. As a result, authenticated attackers with contributor-level access or higher can upload arbitrary files, potentially enabling remote code execution on the targeted server. The flaw is present in all versions up to and including 7.11.4, posing a severe risk to sites utilizing this theme.
