Summary

CVE-2024-1450 is a Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting the Shariff Wrapper plugin for WordPress. This issue, present in versions up to 4.6.10, allows authenticated attackers with contributor-level access or higher to inject arbitrary web scripts. The vulnerability is due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping on user-supplied attributes such as 'align' within the plugin's 'shariff' shortcode. Successful exploitation enables attackers to execute their scripts whenever a user accesses an injected page.
