CVE-2024-1422: A critical vulnerability affects the Elementor Addon Elements plugin for WordPress. This issue allows authenticated attackers with contributor-level permissions and above to execute arbitrary web scripts via the modal popup widget's effect setting due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping on user-supplied attributes. The vulnerability exists in all versions up to and including 1.12.12, potentially impacting numerous WordPress sites.
