Summary
CVE-2024-13662 is a Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting the eHive Objects Image Grid plugin for WordPress. This issue, present in versions up to and including 2.4.1, allows authenticated attackers, including those with contributor-level access and above, to inject malicious scripts. The vulnerability arises due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping on user-supplied attributes in the plugin's 'ehive_objects_image_grid' shortcode. Successful exploitation results in arbitrary web scripts being executed whenever a user accesses an injected page.
