Summary

CVE-2024-1334 is a Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) vulnerability affecting the ImageRecycle pdf & image compression plugin for WordPress. Versions up to and including 3.1.13 are reportedly vulnerable. The issue arises due to insufficient or missing nonce validation on the enableOptimization function. As a consequence, unauthenticated attackers can exploit this weakness by deceiving a site administrator into triggering an action, such as clicking on a malicious link, enabling image optimization for the attacker's benefit.
