Summary
CVE-2024-1317 is a vulnerability affecting the RSS Aggregator plugin for WordPress, specifically versions 4.4.2 and below. Hackers can exploit this issue by injecting malicious SQL queries via the 'search_key' parameter, which is insufficiently escaped and prepared in the plugin. This vulnerability enables authenticated attackers, with contributor access or higher, to extract sensitive data from the database by combining their SQL injection with already existing queries.
