Summary

CVE-2024-1293 is a Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting the Brizy – Page Builder plugin for WordPress. This issue exists in all versions up to and including 2.4.40 due to inadequate input sanitization and output escaping in the embedded media custom block. Consequently, authenticated attackers with contributor access or above can inject malicious web scripts into pages. These scripts are executed whenever a user accesses the injected pages.
